ABOUT OLIVER CHIU Oliver Chiu was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada with his parents one of the earlier Chinese immigrants to settle down in the lower mainland. For most of Oliver's adolescent and teenage life, he dreamt of being a software developer. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science at Simon Fraser University in 2001, he went to pursue this dream only to find a soft IT market as a result of the dot com bust. After 6 months of unemployment, he took the road less traveled and decided to accept an internship position in a job not related to software development. It was here where he decided to prove his worth to the company by working hard and using this position as a 'foot in the door' for bigger and better things. Now, 5 years later, Oliver has remained within the same company and is now a Product Marketing Manager in a position he finds rewarding. Combining both his technical education and now acquired business acumen, Oliver is not looking back and now cannot imagine his career being any other way.
While having a good career, Oliver has also developed a passion for learning, acquiring and teaching others about financial freedom. He is actively educating himself about different vehicles that will lead to true wealth and his life long passion is to be able to teach friends and family how they can become financially wealthy. Currently, Oliver's investment vehicles include being a real estate investor, FX currency trader, dabbling in pre-IPO investments, tax planning, and land banking. Although having varied and wide selection of |

investments, his big passion is real estate and views it as the core foundation of every portfolio.
HOW IT BEGAN One of the most instrumental things that happened in Oliver's life was actually being involved in a serious car crash during a work trip in San Jose. This was his first car accident and although leaving the scene unscathed relative to the severity of the crash, it made him start to think and question how he was living life and if he was enjoying every day to the fullest. It was at the airport on the way back to Vancouver where he picked up his first financial freedom book which subsequently led him to read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki shortly after. Reading Rich Dad Poor Dad completely shifted his worldview and caused him to immediately take action to educate and network with like minded individuals. As well, through developing his own personal goals for becoming financially free, Oliver also found teaching and educating others to be just as rewarding. It is thus his passion and goal to also teach and educate others how they can achieve financial freedom as well.
Through his travels and in talking to people, he has found that many people just need to take the first step and will experience a paradigm shift in what they previously believed possible. His favorite quote is by Henry Ford: "Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right." Another favorite quote is by a famous Jedi Master: "Do or do not. There is no try." Oliver hopes that he will be able to change peoples' perceptions and, in doing so, take the first step together on the road of health, wealth, and vast abundance.
